I've been a patient of Dr. Moskowitz for seven years and it is truly one of the best experiences I've had. I'm one of the millions of people who are deathly afraid of dentists. Everything Dr. Moskowitz said made perfect sense and he addressed each issue as if it were a minor bruise instead of the panic my mind (and other dentists) had brought forth. The financial supervisor came in and we discussed the costs involved. There was never a surprise on the bill. It was exact to what we went over. Dr. M has, in my mind, saved my teeth. His expertise is unquestionable. He always has options and I ask what he would do himself. I take his advice. To me, he is not there to make the highest profit but the most sensible choice. I am never in pain. If he notices any reaction, he always stops and makes sure I'm ok. More than a dentist to me, he is a friend. I leave Derry and drive an hour. Well worth it!

Dr. Haas is wonderful, caring, kind and patient. My son had a BAD first time at a DIFFERENT OFFICE. I looked and listened to friends and thankfully found Dr. Haas and the team at Vanguard. Dr. Craig Rothenberg's work is top shelf! I have been a patient of Dr. Craig's for over 10 years. In that time he has done fillings, a crown, orthodontics on my lower front teeth, and even diagnosed and successfully treated a TMJ problem that had plagued me for years. Through it all he has been courteous, kind and funny, in addition to providing excellent dental care. I have even had people ask me who my dentist is based on my smile. A dentist can't get a better compliment than that!

Diane, I have been bringing my children to Vanguard Dental for many years. We chose Vanguard, once Hrinda Dental, for their pediatric dental care reputation. The pediatric hygienist team is outstanding. The ladies are more than caring, gentle and kind with the children. They always greet us with a smile and treat my children as if they were their only patients.

Under the care of Dr. Haas, who is a wonderful dentist, both children were referred to orthodontics. Having two children in braces was a bit overwhelming. Dr. Hrinda was very thorough with his explanations as to why orthodontics was necessary. I was confident that with his expertise and kind manner, the children were in good hands. Karen walked us through the financial process which we found helpful and convenient that there were payment plans and certain discounts.

My son was very anxious about both his teeth cleanings as well as the ortho work. The girls in ortho have gone above and beyond to make both of my children's experience comfortable and bearable. Their gentle way and caring manner was greatly appreciated. They did their best to make my frequent trips to the dentist convenient by scheduling their appointments together.

Dr. Hrinda is always checking them in a positive manner, making sure they understand what is next in their individual ortho process. My experience at Vanguard always begins and ends with the friendly faces at the front desk. I appreciate the reminder calls and e-mails for upcoming appointments.

This dental office is great. My daughter is 4yrs old and she has severe anxiety attacks when she goes to the dentist. I was referred in the past year to more than 4 different offices. Every office pretty much told me they could not help me. Until I was referred here. This office reassured me that it was not a problem and they definitely would be able to help. They are so friendly and caring, it was great. My daughter went in recently and had major work done. Her teeth came out great and she walked out happy as can be. It was very shocking to see her act like nothing even happened. This dental office is great and if anyone has the same issues you should definitely come here. They can help.

My son DJ is 4 years old. He had a bad experience when he was three during a tooth extraction. He has been terrified of dentists and oral surgeons ever since. He has gone through a handful of dentists that are "very good with children" and none were able to even do an exam let alone dental work. Each time he'd scream and panic and cry. Out of desperation he was fully anesthetized in a hospital to have the needed dental work done. They specialize in children. Have a terrific staff and a slew of happy tricks to insure the child's comfort and happiness. Despite their best efforts, the anesthesiologist came out and spoke with me after DJ was finally under. He started out with "Wow, he's quite a fighter!" They were able to get him under but it finally just took force to overcome his panic.

A year later a filling came loose. He saw the last dentist he'd seen before his hospitalization. My hope was that he was a year older and that this dentist is "excellent with children". But it was the same reaction. DJ completely panicked and the dentist wasn't even able to see which tooth I was talking about. He referred him to an oral surgeon for an extraction. Not wanting to put DJ through that again if it wasn't absolutely necessary, his dentist recommended Dr. Haas at Vanguard.

I was absolutely beside myself with how well DJ did there! Initially he sat in the dental chair and cried in anticipation. However, once the staff and Dr. Haas started talking to him he immediately relaxed. He didn't even cry again, let alone panic or scream. He allowed an exam and everything. When they took him to get a prize while Dr. Haas spoke with me, I started crying. Just out of joy and amazement! The next day he returned for a cleaning with no drugs at all. He had his apprehension at times but overall was comfortable and happy. He allowed the full cleaning!!! Then, with the help of nitrous, allowed the filling to be replaced. He did initially struggle with the gas but far less than in the past and seemed to have no post anxiety at all.

On the way home from the previous dentist he cried the whole half hour ride, no matter what I said. On the way home from Vanguard all he could talk about was what prize he'd get next time and the Sonic game he played. I can't explain why. The staff at Vanguard just have a way with him. They speak at his level as a friend. The results of their techniques are nothing short of amazing with DJ. His baby brother, father and myself will absolutely be coming here. As someone whose tried so many dentists that "specialize in children", if a child has apprehension he/she should go to Vanguard!

I like coming to Vanguard Dental Group because they have games there for while you wait for a dentist to call you in. They are nice to you and will assure you "It's alright". After your appointment is done, they will let you choose a prize. You can even pick a toothbrush of your favorite, toothpaste and floss. Everyone is nice here. Some of my friends who don't go here say they want to. These are the reasons why I love Vanguard Dental Group.

Today was my first experience at Vanguard Dental Group. My six year old had never been to a dentist before and recently started complaining of a toothache. I got an appointment the same day I called which really impressed me since I was not an existing patient. From the time we walked in, to the time we walked out, it was a great experience. My son has been saying all afternoon how much fun he had at the dentist today!! Crazy, right? Unfortunately he needed more then just a usual filling, but Dr. Jim explained everything that he would need to do in a way that myself and my son would understand. When the procedure was over, I asked my son if he was scared or if anything hurt. He replied that he had fun and that he wants to be dentist! Well done Dr. Jim!! Thank you, Dr. Jim for taking such good care of my son during his visit today. I would recommend your practice to anyone. We will be seeing you soon for a cleaning :)

I never knew this quality of dental care existed. We came to Vanguard after a bad pediatric experience and Dr. Jim Haas was professional, fast & efficient, caring, and sweet. He made my 4-year-old feel comfortable and at ease while having cavities taken care of. I don't think my son even knew he was getting a Novocaine shot! Dr. Haas also sang delightful songs that I enjoyed hearing while I was sitting next to my son. His assistant, Lisa, was very warm, friendly, and personable; they were a great team. After a traumatic first experience with panic, tears, and even burst blood vessels (from the stress), my son is not dreading his next visit to Dr. Haas to have the rest of his cavities addressed. He told me he likes the "new place" because this new dentist is very gentle and he likes his singing. Thank you for treating your patients with such appreciation and genuine care & concern. I know that my children's dental needs are in the greatest care around.

I recently completed an Invisalign program as recommended by Dr. Rothenberg. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Despite being a great product, it is my opinion that Invisalign results can vary greatly depending on the level of care provided by your dentist. The treatment I received during the entire year long process was first rate. Dr. Rothenberg had me in for regularly scheduled visits to check my progress, maintain proper spacing and update trays. As I was nearing the end of the process, Dr. Rothenberg even took a new set of molds and extended the program as part of a mid-course correction because he wasn't fully satisfied with results. I honestly felt that Dr. Rothenberg cared for my teeth as if they were his own. As part of the treatment process, I visited the office frequently, so I also got to know many of the other Vanguard staff members. It didn't matter if my appointment was at 8AM or 5PM, the Vanguard staff was friendly, courteous and always willing to help. I would strongly recommend Dr. Rothenberg and his staff to family and friends. I have been a patient for almost ten years and will be one for many more.

I have been a patient of Vanguard Dental Group from the age of six. I am now 26 and I am still a patient there. Some people hate going to the dentist, but for me it isn't a chore and just about keeping my teeth healthy. When I walk into the office I feel like I am visiting old friends as well. I have known these people since I got my first adult tooth, to my gawky adolescent age when I had braces and now when I have beautiful, straight healthy teeth. I have had a lot of work done by Dr. Rothenberg especially. Before I had braces I had my teeth reshaped and had some bonding done. Bonding does require some upkeep and after a few years it inevitably stains and discolors. I decided that I was going to have some smile reconstruction. My teeth were perfectly straight but they were not as white as I had wanted them. After consulting with Dr. Rothenberg we had decided that Veneers and Crowns would be the best fit for me. Well, I couldn't be happier with the results. I am constantly being complemented on my smile and I owe it all to Dr. Rothenberg and Vanguard Dental Group. They have been there every step of the way for the last twenty years.
